Living Water Christian Retreats
Update
Thanksgiving 2009
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Prayer Partners….
May this update find you blessed and at PEACE in your world. Thank God for
His guidance and Love as the Living Water Christian Retreats ministry
continues to grow and expand.
It has been amazing to be a part of Living Water Christian Retreats and God's
mercy and grace. We have had the honor and privilege to be a part of the
healing work with nearly 50 of God's hurting treasures and seeing real life
change in real women's lives. It has been a beautiful thing and I am so very
thankful to the Lord for allowing me to be a part of this amazing ministry.
Praise the Lord for everything that He has done for and through this ministry
thus far and for His being in control of the future.
At each of our retreats the participants are asked to complete an evaluation of
their retreat experience. The number one comment that we hear after every
retreat is that the women feel God's love and acceptance. From the very
beginning when our faith statement was written a commitment was made to
being non denominational and welcoming every believer in Jesus Christ to be
a part of these retreats. It is very important to demonstrate accepting each of
God's children where they are and being with them as God ministers to their
heart. Genuine care and concern for each participant and demonstrating real
love in action is part of what makes Living Water Christian Retreats so very
special.
Most Christian believers feel in their hearts we are coming to the end time
when our Jesus will return to us. I believe it is critical for the family of God to
get over our various religiosity and self-righteous doctrine based judgments
and fighting. The time is now to come together in love and unity and focus our
hearts and minds on the sameness we share as children of the Living God
saved only by our faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. For me this means
walking the walk in practice as the Bible teaches us to do in Romans 14.
Perhaps this is our study for 2010.
2010 will be a time of change at Living Water Christian Retreats. The
addition of our grief retreats and continuing expansion will mean more
opportunity for more women to participate. This means a greater need for
resources and provision. 2010 will be an exciting time as God will put a call
on more people to become involved or get more involved, others may feel led
to become re-involved and for others life's circumstances and desires will
have them say good bye to take care of personal needs/agendas or desires.
Thank you for everything you have done to help support and encourage this
ministry. Thank you for every prayer that has been prayed. Your prayer
support has truly made a difference. Every item for the boxes, hand made gift,
and tangible provision has helped to make a way where there seemed to be
no way. Each volunteer who has given time is valued and appreciated more
then you will ever know. There are no words to express my heart-felt gratitude
to everyone who has helped this ministry to happen. I am also grateful for
each participant who came and allowed me to be a part of her very intimate
healing work. May the Lord bless everyone who has been involved and guide
and protect you always.
Please join me in prayer for God's perfect will in every detail not only for Living
Water Christian Retreats but also for all of God's ministries and their
important work around the world for the Kingdom.
HAPPY – HAPPY - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Love In Christ Jesus!
Still in HIS Service!
